The mission of the foundation is "To promote the comprehensive well-being, resilience and positive incorporation into society of people officially classified as disabled by the Veterans Administration of the United States of America, through the provision of logistics, recreation, educational support and the promotion of the philosophical precepts of humanism, seeking their mental and spiritual peace and the strengthening of their emotional intelligence."

GALERAS OCEAN BEACH FOUNDATION FOR VETERANS has active involvement in the conservation of las Galeras surrounding environment and its totality, including greenery, ocean and wildlife, with emphasis on coral gardening.

GALERAS OCEAN BEACH FOUNDATION FOR VETERANS is registered in the Dominican Republic, RNC (REGISTRO NACIONAL DE CONTRIBUVENTES) 4-30-43266-2. The board members include US military and US law enforcement veterans and their respective families.

 Veteran owned medical clinic in the heart of Armenia that is now offering care programs to disabled veterans and their families. The Operations Supervisor is Dr. Lucy Jeanette Villegas Alzate that has dedicated her life to the dental profession and positively changing the lives of her patients, including disabled military and police for more than 20 years. Raised in a military family, she understands the hardships of military family life and provides special consideration to those who served to defend their families and their country. 

One of Dr. Villegas main specialties is providing ORAL AND DENTAL CARE OF COMBAT-INDUCED PTSD to the military for over 20 years. Dr. Villegas understands the complexities of PTSD and Oral Health and the complications dervied from its effects not only to oral health but to the rest of the body, including muscular skeletal problems. Her other specialty is dentalsleep medicine for treating patients with sleep apnea. 

Luis Luna is the owner of EJE MEDIC, and a veteran. Intrigued by Oral and Dental Care of Combat-Induced PTSD, since many personal friends suffered from this, EJE MEDIC was conceived.
